The following are some questions and answers regarding this site and the services offered here.

 

Who owns this site?
This site is owned by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and managed for the ACS by Cierant Corporation, the print services provider responsible for processing orders, producing the journals and shipping orders to our customers.

 

How quickly will I receive my order?
Journal reprint orders placed on this site require 10-15 business days to manufacture and deliver within the continental United States. For shipments outside the continental United States, please allow an additional 5 business days. ALL article reprint orders will be processed once the article has been published, and so the manufacturing/delivery window begins at that time.

 

Why can't I get my copies faster?
Orders for back issues of ACS Journals or for Author/Article Reprints are produced using digital, on-demand print production and are not being shipped from inventory. If you have special requirements and our normal turnaround time is not sufficient, you should note the requirement in your order, or call our Customer Service line to explain your needs. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible service and we will try to help where we can. Please note that Rush Order processing may incur an additional charge if we determine that we might be able to accelerate delivery of your order.

 

How can I pay for my order?
We offer three methods of payment. You may pay for your order via credit card. Upon credit card approval, your order will be processed and shipped. Charges will appear as 'Cierant Corporation' on your credit card statement and will be posted when your order is shipped. You may also prepay for your order by wire transfer or by mailing a check to our production partner. Note that your payment must be received before your order will be printed and shipped. Finally, you may pay via Purchase Order. If you choose this payment method, we require that you submit a copy of the actual purchase order with terms and conditions via fax, e-mail or postal mail. Your order will not be processed and shipped until we have the purchase order copy.

 

I am looking for other journals than the ones listed in the Browse Journals menu. What do I do?
At present, only a limited selection of our journals are being offered through this website. For more information you may contact:
